Index No. M6412 Unusual Swiss Lever Movement
A 19th Century Swiss keywind gilt bar lever movement.  The train fitted from the dial side leaving only the balance, escapement and going barrel visible.   The bridges on the gilt plate of polished steel, one apparently serving no purpose apart from decoration. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.

The design formed by the steel bridges might mean to represent an Arabic or Turkish character.
