An early 19th Century Swiss independent seconds keywind gilt bar Captains movement with two going barrels. Plain cock with polished steel parachute suspension and regulator, bimetallic compensation curb. Uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with two large subsidiaries for time, one driven from the independent centre seconds train.  Further subsidiary for continuous seconds. Wound and set through te signed gilt metal cuvette engraved with details of the movement.
