A mid 19th Century quarter repeating Swiss lever movement with custom made winding mechanism. Gilt bar movement with going barrel. English type snailed steel rocking bar winding and setting work above the bridges. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Straight line lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones in polished steel settings. Slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.
