An English full plate gilt keywind fusee chronometer movement. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with garnet endstone, compensation balance with two wedge shaped weights and timing screws, freesprung blue steel helical hairspring. Screwed in jewelling, escape pivots with endstones. Earnshaw type spring detent escapement. Fine white enamel dial marked "Chronometer 2059", subsidiary seconds, Roman and Arabic numerals.

The firm of Rivers and Son succeeded Daniel De St. Leu.
