A slim unusual early 19th Century French quarter repeating cylinder movement. Reversed
full plate movement with
gold train and repeating wheels visible through the pierced and engraved plate. On the back
of the watch the
majority of the polished steel quarter repeating work, the hour snail, chain and push pendant
situated unusually
between the plates. Polished steel sector shaped cock, plain three arm gold balance, blue steel
spiral hairspring.
Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Push pendant quarter repeating on two polished
steel gongs situated
under the ring dial, (now lacking).
