An early 19th Century English Full plate gilt keywind fusee cylinder movement. Unusual
construction to be locked
into a case by dog screws, rear wound and set. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, steel
regulator, plain three
arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large brass escape
wheel, pivots with
endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds
hand, gilt hands.
