The most detailed and charming of the models. Constructed almost entirely from pierced and engraved watch cocks taken from 18th and 19th verge watches. The panels have been skilfully hard soldered to form the larger sheets. While we do have some misgivings about the hundreds of watches sacrificed in these models they are perhaps a better use than the necklaces that are so often the fate of these cocks. We believe that they are all the work of one man.

The shaped hinged lid of the piano opens to reveal a strung sound board. The lid opens together with a folding music stand which can be raised. A set of white keys has been formed from a strip of ivory (one lacking). The piano stands on three feet, the two by the keyboard standing on a sheet formed from eight cocks. A piano player sits at the keyboard on a piano stool made from a single..... (I'm sure you can guess)!
