An unusual mid 19th Century Independent seconds lever movement with parachute and temperature compensation.  Keywind gilt bar movement with two suspended going barrels, both with stopwork.  The train for the Independent seconds work under the dial.  Plain cock with blue steel regulator, bimetallic temperature compensation curb.  Uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring, polished steel parachute suspension.  Club foot lever escapement.  White enamel dial with Independent centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.
