| A small 19th Century English gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with suspended going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Rare form of Savage lever escapement where a wide triangular jewel takes the place of the two pins. Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Gilt engine turned and engraved dial with faded numerals, blue steel hands. | ||
