Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Painted white metal dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Enclosed in a very large glass sphere in
two halves mounted in gilt metal bezels, the back glass of slightly larger diameter with a flat portion allowing the clock to stand on a table.
