A small silver and tortoiseshell eight day carriage clock. Small rectangular movement with gilt lever platform, uncut balance with spiral hairspring. white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Fine tortoiseshell case with decorative chased silver frames and hinged handle standing on four silver ball feet. The panels of tortoiseshell are each inlaid with a decorative foliate pattern in engraved silver.
