An early 20th Century French hour and half hour strike repeating carriage clock. Polished brass movement with two large going barrels for the strike and going trains. Striking the hours at the hour and a single blow at the half hour in passing on a blue steel gong. The hours can also be struck at will by pressing a button at the top of the case. Silvered platform with lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring, polished steel regulator. Off white enamel chapter with Arabic numerals on a frosted gilt mask, blue steel hands. Lacquered polished brass case. Glazed sides and hinged rear door, large glazed oval aperture to reveal the platform, repeat button in the top plate, folding cast handle.
